Parent #1 of the Year

Today, I got bitched out by some lady in a Walmart because I looked at her funny while she was on the phone, loudly bragging about "slapping the shit out of" her kids. FML

Oversharing

Today, my 10-year-old son told me that sometimes he wishes that he could be a girl, so that he could masturbate more easily in public. FML

Kids, it doesn't get any better

Today, I was sitting in class when I overheard a group talking about how much they don't like me. When they saw me there, they burst out laughing. FML

Bad timing

Today, it's been a while since I've been looking for a job. Too bad most companies are closing down and ordering people to work from home because of the Coronavirus. FML

Today, I found out that a strong orgasm can trigger my girlfriend's PTSD. FML

Spooking cats

Today, my cat got his head stuck in the handle of a plastic bag while snooping. Unfortunately, it was the bag I use to put his turds in after scooping them from the litter tray. With the bag trapped around his neck, he got spooked, then ran around the house, spreading turds from the bag as he fled. FML

Today, my brother is getting married to my crush of 7 years. To make that even worse, they're moving in with me. FML

Today, I'm a veterinary assistant. Also today, my cat had a foreign body in her intestines and had to have surgery. The doctor pulled out part of my dildo in front of all of my coworkers. I'm never going to live this down. FML

Today, my bird learned how to mimic the fire alarm after my dad has been testing them for the last few months. He now enjoys sounding like a fire alarm anytime I turn the lights off with the other bird joining in. They live in my room. FML

Today, my teacher told me that unless I went into medicine, math, or engineering, I would never amount to anything in life. This wasn't even two minutes after I told him I want to be an author. FML

Inappropriate

Today, I went to take a shower, but forgot my towel and dorm key in my room. After my shower, I had to run down to the front desk butt-naked, using only a shampoo bottle as cover, and ask for a temporary key. The person running the front desk was my ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend. FML

Today was my moms wedding and I was the maid of honor! I was so excited to walk down the isle with my mom, but the church was so dry I got a bloody nose 5 minutes before going down. I couldn’t go down the isle or watch my mom go down either. I had to stay in the back and hold my nose up. FML

Today, my mom came home crying. I held her and asked her what was wrong. She told me that we are probably gonna have to re-home our two horses, which we’ve had for 10 years, due to her extensive medical bills. FML

Today, my wife lost her job, I got a phone call telling me my health insurance was cancelled, I can't afford my meds, and my card declined a $2 purchase for insufficient funds. Couldn't get any worse, right? Just checked the mail. I have jury duty. FML

Today, my boyfriend informed me that after finding a really good construction job, getting it, quitting his other job for it, that the contract fell through literally 2 days after he left his other job. I’m the only one working and my job is seasonal and I was planning on going back to school. FML

Today, my brother put a sign on my car saying, "No baby on board, feel free to drive into me." Somebody did. FML

Today, I slashed my ass open with a shard of glass. How? I was making out with my crush, and threw my glasses on the ground. I forgot about them when we decided to lie down. FML

Wingnut

Today, while driving me to the airport for a trip to Japan, my mother started crying. When I asked her why, she said, "I just know that if the plane crashes, I will never see you again because you are going to hell." Thank you, mom. I love you too. FML

Today, my boyfriend left me for his sister. No, not my sister. His sister. FML

Today, brand new cocktail dress: $300. Matching peep toe heels: $100. Getting my hair done at the salon: $80. Treating myself to a mani/pedi: $50. When finally meeting the guy I have been chatting online with for 2 months, I find out he's my cousin: priceless. FML

Today, my boyfriend handcuffed me to the bed, naked. Someone pulled the fire alarm, and my boyfriend couldn't find the key. So he left me, and the Resident Advisor found me. The fireman had to cut the chain. FML

Today, my boyfriend of 2 years took me to get a tattoo done with his name on. He paid for it. After it was done he told me it was over between us and he thought it'd be a nice reminder of him for me. FML

GHOSTS!

Today, after I moved into my new 1930's house, my elderly rescue dog raised her hackles and stared at the wall behind my bed for two full minutes. I thought she might have recognized something from her old job. She's a retired cadaver dog. I guess I'm never sleeping, again. FML

Today, my dad informed me that I’d not be progressing into next year’s class because it’s a waste of money. But it’s fine because my twin will be learning for the both of us. FML

Today, my uncle passed away after 3 years of suffering with cancer and I was a bit upset over it. My immediate family informed me that he was never a good guy and I should get over it. So I was getting over it, but they dragged it on and I cried, and now they think I'm being overdramatic. FML.

Today, the little bell in my car that lets you know your keys are still in your ignition went out. How did I find out? I locked myself out of both my house and my car. FML
